It was a bit of a mystery to the kids at our table, as there wasn’t much to do but watch a show or watch Pokémon Go.
We didn’t even really get to pick out our gifts.
But we did get to get a taste of Pokémon Go as the kids watched the game on their phones.
One of my kids wanted to gift her a Pikachu, but there was no way she could bring that Pikachu to her house, because they’re in a different Pokédex.
She thought, well, what if I gave her the gift of a Pokemon?
And then I got a Pokemon Go Pikachu.
I didn’t have to explain what Pokemon Go was to my kids.
We just played and waited for them to get bored and stop playing.
When we returned home, we had a little bit of an adventure with a Pokemon in the house, so we were able to make that part of the game easier.
But my kids were all ready for some serious Pokémon hunting.
When they came back, we brought a Pikachu to the park and the kids were super excited about it.
And then they were all excited about catching it!
So we took a picture of the two of them and we said, “Well, this is the Pokémon that we just caught.”
And then, one by one, the kids got to play with their own Pokémon.
Then we took the photo of their Pokémon, and then the kids started playing with their Pokémon.
They even got to meet a different Pokémon.
And that’s when I got really excited about Pokémon Go and how awesome it was.
So, the next time you’re out in the park, just look out for those adorable little Pokemon in your yard.
And make sure you bring your Pokemon Go gifts to the store to help them out.
